1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to Prepiora (“Prepiora”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Some features require an account (for example, saving notes, analytics, or GitHub sync). You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating or using an account.
• Maintain the security of your account and authentication methods (e.g., Google OAuth).
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Accept responsibility for activities that occur under your account.

4. The Services and AI Features

Prepiora provides learning and productivity features such as AI explanations of your code, revision notes, and progress analytics. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated and should be independently verified. You are responsible for how you use any output.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. You must not:

• Use the Services for illegal activities or violate applicable law.
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, scrape protected content, or reverse engineer third-party platforms.
• Use the Services to cheat in contests or assessments.
• Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with operations.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

6. User Content and Ownership

“User Content” includes code, notes, and other content you submit or store through the Services. You retain ownership. You grant Prepiora a limited license to host and process your content solely to operate and improve the Services.

7. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google OAuth, GitHub, AI providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Fees and Payments

Some features may be paid subscriptions. Pricing and billing details are shown at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information.

10. Disclaimer

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPIORA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES.

11. Limitation of Liability

PREPIORA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS, OR INR 5,000 IF NONE.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
